Your host has been surfing and exploring the area for over 30 years and B&B guests can benefit from the owners advice based on years of knowledge and experience on surfing, surfing conditions and other outdoor activities in the area.

     

Sandy Hollow enjoys a quiet and peaceful position, situated halfway between the Croyde beach and the centre of Croyde village. There is also easy access to a footpath that runs behind the property through the dunes and to the beach. So whether your preference is the beach and surfing, or the village with its pubs, restaurants and shops, all are within a very short and safe walking distance.

Sandy Hollow B&B Croyde Bay Surf Report

Fri...1ft surf this morning with light, variable, should be mainly Easterly offshore winds throughout the day. The surf is clean with good shape but small, enough for a longboard. Overcast for most of the day. Outlook for the weekend, brighter weather, lighter generally offshore winds, with small rideable surf .1200hrs very clean, glassy, might see an extra 1ft on the push.

Enjoy your surf, stay safe. If you're not sure about the conditions, ask for advice!  If there are no lifeguards on the beach of your choice, ask for advice in the surf hire shops, or check out the surf schools.

The surf schools are open and giving lessons, which include expert advice on weather, surf and beach conditions and water safety.

Sandy Hollow has a large garden for board storage, plus wetsuit washing and drying facilities and rear private access to the beach at Croyde.

From Braunton take the B3231 to Croyde, continue past the beach and on towards the village. About 250 meters before the road narrows to enter Croyde, turn left into Sandy Lane just before the entrance to Bay View Farm Campsite, drive on keeping to the right and you will see Sandy Hollow on your left.
